The self-hosted software End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy are updated together to add the optional public server directory, hakoHub: the Privacy Policy adds Section 4A (once a server administrator turns it on and registers, HakoSpace periodically connects to that server to read its public directory information and shows it on hub.hakospace.com after review) and rewrites Sections 1 and 2 on which services HakoSpace operates; the EULA adds Section 11.7 (licence to directory data, the administrator's warranties, review and take-down, no endorsement) and adjusts the other parts of Section 11 and Section 12. The update also corrects descriptions that did not match how the software works, including the full list of Improvement Program data and how to delete it, the IP addresses a server stores (server log, IP ban list, consent records), that the official website keeps no logs and sets no cookies, how to exercise rights over data HakoSpace itself holds, and that the desktop application keeps sign-in tokens in the operating system's encrypted storage. Versioning now distinguishes material changes from editorial versions, and only material changes require renewed consent (Privacy Policy Appendix A; EULA Sections 1.1, 5 and 9). Both documents are material changes, so every user must accept them again at their next connection. On the same day, an editorial version of the HakoSpace Official Account Privacy Policy brings its text in line with how the service currently works: changing your password from the account page now sends a link to your email address (Sections 2, 4, 5 and 6); when staff request or cancel the deletion of your account, we also email you (Sections 6 and 10); while an account is disabled or a deletion request is pending, the only hakoHub notices sent are those for a Listing being taken down or reinstated, and other notices not yet sent are no longer sent (Sections 6 and 9). As an editorial version, it does not require renewed consent. The Official Account Terms of Service, the hakoHub Listing Policy and the hakoHub Directory Privacy Notice are unchanged (still 2026-10-15).

Editorial version of the four HakoSpace Official Account documents. Only the statement at the top of each document changes: the previous version said it was an engineering draft not yet reviewed by a practicing attorney and that review would be completed before public registration opens; this version instead says that any revision will be announced as a new version and earlier versions are never modified. No other text changed; as an editorial version it does not require re-consent. The self-hosted software EULA (2026-07-08) and Privacy Policy (2026-09-26) are unchanged.

First version of four new documents for the HakoSpace Official Account, an online account used only for HakoSpace's official services (currently, listing a server on hakoHub); it cannot be used to sign in to any HakoSpace server. The documents are the Official Account Terms of Service, the Official Account Privacy Policy, the hakoHub Listing Policy (part of the Terms and versioned with them) and the hakoHub Directory Privacy Notice (for visitors to the server directory). Published as an engineering draft by HakoSpace, not reviewed by a practicing attorney. The self-hosted software EULA (2026-07-08) and Privacy Policy (2026-09-26) are unchanged.

Privacy Policy update: software update checks and downloads now use HakoSpace's software release source, dl.hakospace.com (operated by HakoSpace using Cloudflare's storage and delivery services), with GitHub as a fallback. §4 "Network Logs" now covers update checks and downloads; under "Other outbound connections", the desktop update-check item names the new release source and a server update-check item is added (the server connects only when an administrator manually checks for or downloads an update); §6 (Desktop Application) is aligned. No other clauses changed. EULA unchanged (remains 2026-07-08).

Privacy Policy update: in §6 (Desktop Application), the "Game HUD (foreground window information)" item now also lists the window identifier and the display the window is on together with that display's scaling factor, and adds a further purpose for that information — identifying the window to be shared when you choose "Share this game" from the HUD panel (the shared content itself is handled as described in §3.1 on screen sharing). No other clauses changed. EULA unchanged (remains 2026-07-08).

Privacy Policy update: §6 (Desktop Application) now discloses the game HUD — its local media cache, the foreground-window information it reads on your device, how keyboard events are handled, and the operating-system WebView2 component it runs on — and the desktop application's update checks against GitHub (also listed under §4 "Other outbound connections"). §A.3 now reflects that each document must be scrolled to the bottom before it can be accepted. EULA unchanged (remains 2026-07-08).
