User Guide
HakoSpace is a self-hosted voice, video, and messaging platform that gives you full control of your server, data, and privacy. (The name “Hako” comes from the Japanese 箱 (はこ) — a box of your own.)
This guide is the complete reference manual for HakoSpace end users. If you haven’t logged in to any HakoSpace server yet, read Getting Started first. If you want to set up a HakoSpace Server of your own, see the Quick Self-Host Guide.
This guide has 11 chapters. From the interface tour, text channels, voice channels, and direct messages through to desktop-only features and the complete keyboard shortcut list, it covers all the features you’ll come across in everyday use.
